It seems rather odd that a lot of people have not worked this one out for themselves that frugal living, however embarrassing it may be, is green living. Times are changing where we all are starting to think about the environment and about the credit crunch. Has it ever occurred to anyone, the more you save the environment, the more you actually save yourself? Think about it logically and then tell me where I am wrong, but do think about it.
Take the big supermarkets leading the way to fight global warming by selling energy efficient light bulbs to the public. The public buys the light bulbs and save on energy consumption throughout the year, saves the world little by little and they save money by not paying so much for their electric at the end of the month. You get to kill three birds with one stone by living more green.
Electric companies are telling all of their customers to not leave electrical equipment on standby as it consumes a lot of energy for doing nothing. It is their way to doing their bit to fight global warming, although I am sure, they love it when you leave the appliances on as it makes them more money but they’ll never admit to it. So in turn, you switch off the appliances that are on standby and save a few pounds every month and you get to save Mother Nature at the same time.

The same goes with by buying fruit and vegetables from the market stalls instead of big supermarkets which do charge an arm and leg for packaging. Now why do we feel so embarrassed when we save money but not when we try to save the environment?
Remember the days you ran around carelessly in your garden, doing all sorts of foolish tricks, falling on the ground time after time without a tear on your face. Those were the good old days. Our parents always use to tell us, enjoy it while you can, you will miss it one day. Laughing at the thought of it now, we had no idea what was coming, did we?

I really miss hanging out of tree’s, building houses all over the place with whatever we could find. Playing silly games that kept us entertained for hours. My fondest memories are those when we used to try and build a boat for our swimming pool or a go-kart without the engine but we always failed but we never gave us. We really should apply that philosophy to life, just think of where we’ll be then.
Running on the grass barefoot, climbing trees like monkeys and being foolish, immature and irresponsible without a care in the world. To be young again, if only we had a second chance. So what do you remember and miss about your childhood?
Discovered this hilarious clip on the internet tonight and I just had to share it with you guys out there. I had no idea that Will Ferrell did extra stuff but this is really good. Going to dig around the internet a bit more while you enjoy this clip, hope I find a few more to add it to the Will Ferrell collection.
